If we only exercise one wing\, we cannot fly. \nIn this brief get-together we hope to brainstorm ways of working our wing of compassion in our homes\, our neighborhoods\, our world. \nOf course\, to do this skillfully we must keep the wing of wisdom and equanimity-towards-all working simultaneously. How can KCC members support each other in this difficult work? Join us to share your ideas. \n“Hope Is a Strategy\, And Community Is the Front Line” \nAmid the danger\, the civil rights leader Eric Ward calls on everyday Americans to show moral courage—not forged in battle\, but in unity. “Courage starts with a breath\,” he says. “We need to stop panicking\, support our local governments\, and rejoin civic life even if it’s just quilting clubs or faith groups.
