Buddhist Bingo!
August 20, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Yes, really, Buddhist Bingo!
KCCers young and old and every age in between–You are invited to what we venture will be a first-in-your-lifetime experience!
On August 20th at 3:00 pm you are invited to join us at KCC’s Portland Center for a fine, fun time playing Buddhist Bingo under the tent and on Zoom. There will be snacks and iced chai (caff and decaf). And there will be prizes! This fun(d)raising event to benefit KCC will also include a raffle of services donated by sangha members (see list below).
TO PLAY
Here is how it works: We’re replacing the simple numbers that you see on ordinary BINGO cards with Buddhist references. On this card, if the caller said, “White Conch Shell,” you would cover the third square in the “I” column. (Odds are good this will be simultaneously challenging and hilarious.)
RAFFLE ITEMS
This new fun(d)raising event to benefit KCC also includes a raffle of goods and services donated by sangha members. Examples of raffle items already in place:
- A bread-baking class with Linda Logan
- Gorgeous jewelry from Mary Woods
- Tickets for six to an Oregon Ballet Theatre performance of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker next December from Linda Besant
- One-day river trip from Phil Wallin
Mark your calendars now and join in the fun on August 20th!
