KCC’s Policy on Inclusion

KCC aims to be a safe, welcoming place for people of different cultures, languages, races, genders, sexual orientations, ages, socio-economic statuses, countries of origin, nationalities, sizes, political beliefs, and physical, mental, and perceptual abilities. The KCC Leadership commits to doing the internal and external work of creating such a place. Through our individual and communal cultivation of loving kindness, compassion, and equanimity, we aim to uncover and eliminate all expressions of discrimination, and by gradually revealing our inherent wisdom, we strive to eliminate the ignorance that is its root. We aspire to be a community in which all those interested in walking the Buddhist path feel safe, welcome, and nurtured.
