During this special half-day of practice on First Sundays, Lama Eric Triebelhorn provides detailed instructions about the practice of Shamatha from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by a potluck lunch. These Shamatha Half-Day Sits happen in odd-numbered months: January, March, May, July, September, and November.
At the beginning of each session, brief instruction to the practice of Shamatha will be given. After a 45-minute session, there will be a teaching or question-and-answer period with participants.
Participation in the study group is open to all but the Zoom meetings are done by password-protected invitation email. Anyone who is interested should contact the organizer.
